FEY - The future of Europe for young people

This project involves young people between 18 and 30 years old from France, Romania, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Germany.

"The future of Europe for young people" lasted 13 months, from September 2021 to October 2022, with a total of 380 young participants and about 10,000 people who were indirectly contacted.

The project consists of several activities that mainly involve online and offline meetings. The aim of these meetings was to gather information, discuss current youth challenges and propose solutions and alternatives to existing problems.

Among them, we can divide the meetings into 4:

• October 2021 in France

• January 2022 in Germany (online)

• April 2022 in Italy (online)

• July 2022 in Spain.

These national activities were organized by each partner in each country so that the young people could meet, get to know each other and discuss the selected topics of the project.

From 8 March, Italians students, who took part in the International project M.I.T. Europe - Marketing, Internationalization and Tourism in Europe " within Erasmus plus program (KA1) ", are conducting s their internship at the Cosvitec Est offices in Constanta (Romania).

Students, belonging to various schools In Campania (ISIS Gaetano Filangieri of Frattamaggiore, ISIS Nitti in Naples, ISIS Tilgher of Herculaneum, ISIS Taddeo da Sessa Sessa Aurunca, ISIS Don Geremia Piscopo Naples) and carefully selected and trained before departure from CosvitecI talia, are now carrying out their transnational placements, provided by ErasmusPlus project, within business and marketing companies in order to promote cultural and environmental heritage.

Students, who have had the opportunity to take part in this project, will improve their knowledge about start-up promotion and business internationalization in the tourism area and will increase, not only their linguistic and digital skills but also how to manage human and financial resources through business plans development and living a great formative experience in Cosvitec Est where they are supported by professional and highly qualified tutors that are following their progress step by step.

Thanks to this experience students will be highly competitive in the world of work not only professionally but also humanly.
Students will surely have a competitive advantage thanks to the soft skills acquired in this important work experience abroad as this at Cosvitec Est.

 

 

As for the issue of sustainability, companies are required to implement plans for reducing consumption and to be more efficient in terms of energy-saving.

 

The mestiereimpresa.bnl.it website identified 5 key pointsin order to achieve a bigger efficiency and to make a change in all business realities.

 

  1. Consumption costs analysis: Examine business needs and all the ways to meet them without wasting unnecessary energy.
    For example it’s possible to choose a program that studies consumption habits (such as recycling paper, monitor the use of the prints, turn on the air conditioning only when necessary) , in order to install a more efficient energy program.
  2. Examine the life cycle of IT equipment: understand, so ,if you can reuse, recycle and update it in order to extend their life cycle and performance.
  3. Monitoring the value chain: understand if there’s any waste to eliminate, control the activities of suppliers monitoring the supply by selecting the most virtuous
  4. Collaboration: inform all employees of the sustainable management of the company, making sure that everyone has a conscious behavior.
  5. Choose local companies: the advantage is that, that way there’s an increase of the local economy and that it’s possible to control the actions of their suppliers, reducing also costs related to transport

 

 

Regio Stars Awards 2017:  Include EU awards for innovative projects in regional development.
Thay are a recognition for Regions that have been co-financed by the ERDF, ESF, IPA or by other funding systems after 1st January 2008 and that can inspire and develop the diffusion of innovative projects. Among the categories in the competition, in addiction to innovation for PMI, women empowerment and digital training, there’s also L’Unione dell’energia: Azioni per il clima.

HorizonPrize 2016: It provides important incentives for those who participate in the Horizon 2020 program, and deliver the most innovative solutions.
HorizonPrize includes awards for innovative projects in the fields of environment and alternative energy:

 

  • Photovoltaics meets history - This award takes on the challenge related to the technical constraints in relation with  integration of photovoltaic energy sources in historic urban districts. This award, amounting to 750 thousand euros, will be assigned to the more suitable project, for photovoltaic system development, considering architectural, aesthetical and technical point of view.
    The deadline for submitting applications is September 26, 2018.
  • Low carbon hospital - With 1 million euros, this award supports the development of solutions for the exclusive use of renewable energy sources for heating and energy supply in hospital buildings. The award will be assigned to an innovative solution that can integrate different technologies into a single system, ensuring uninterrupted energy supply.
    The deadline for submitting applications is April 3, 2019.
  • CO2 Reuse - With his 1.5 million Euros, this award aims to cut CO2 emissions in the atmosphere by supporting the development of innovative products that reuse the carbon dioxide, overcoming the technical, commercial and financial barriers.
